Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and The Sea Labs LLC (“The Sea Labs,” “we,” “us”) governing your use of the Handful of Minutesmobile app, website, emails, and related content (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

Handful of Minutes is intended for parents and caregivers. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.

2. Account

You must sign in with Apple or Google to use the Service. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may delete your account in Settings. Deleting the account removes our account and entitlement records; App Store billing is managed separately with Apple.

3. What the Service does

Handful of Minutes suggests a small, age-appropriate activity idea for your child each day, based on the birth month you enter on your device. You can skip a suggestion or ask for another. Features may include favorites, history, and a paid subscription with an App Store free trial when offered.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid access is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the Apple App Store (monthly or yearly, as shown in the app). Payment, taxes, free trials, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple ID subscription settings. Restore purchases from within the app after signing in on a new device.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service or its content catalog.
• Misrepresent your eligibility or abuse purchase / restore flows.
• Rely on the Service as medical, developmental, educational, or childcare advice from a licensed professional.

6. Activity content and safety

Activities are general ideas for caregivers. You remain responsible for supervising your child and judging whether an activity is safe and appropriate. Activities, age ranges and skill labels are not an assessment of your child’s development.

7. Privacy

How we handle information is described in our Privacy Policy, which is part of these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, branding, and activity catalog, is owned by The Sea Labs or its licensors. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Sea Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, fifty U.S. dollars).

11. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms or change or discontinue parts of the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. You may stop using the Service by deleting your account and uninstalling the app.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
